(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 17, the Provincial Party Committee delegation visited and presented Tet gifts to agencies, units and individuals in Nam Dan district.

Visiting and presenting Tet gifts from the provincial leaders to the officers and soldiers of Fire Police Department No. 7, District Police and Military Command of Nam Dan District, comrade Nguyen Huu Lam, on behalf of the provincial leaders, wished the officers and soldiers of the agencies and units good health, a warm and happy traditional Tet and excellent completion of assigned tasks; contributing to ensuring political security, social order and safety in the district and province.

Next, the provincial delegation also visited and presented Tet gifts to a number of poor households, policy families, and the elderly in Nam Dan district. The poor households include Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Huong, who has a goiter and stage 4 heart disease in hamlet 1, Hong Long commune; and Mr. Pham Minh Chau, 74 years old, in hamlet 11, Xuan Lam commune. Mr. Pham Minh Chau is currently raising two children aged 2-4 years old alone because his daughter-in-law died in a work accident and his son went to work far away.

Policy households, families with revolutionary contributions, and the elderly include Mrs. Thai Thi Phan, 113 years old, hamlet 1, Hong Long commune; Mrs. Vuong Thi Dy, hamlet Hoi 2, Kim Lien commune; Mr. Dang Xuan Lam, 91 years old, a veteran revolutionary with 70 years of party membership in Manh San hamlet, Nam Kim commune; and Mr. Phan Thanh Doan, 94 years old, and his wife Nguyen Thi Thanh, 91 years old, both with 70 years of party membership in hamlet 7, Xuan Hoa commune.

The delegation visited the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Huong, whose husband was a war invalid who died of rectal cancer. Her daughter, a first-year university student, also has rectal cancer and is being treated in Hanoi. Ms. Huong herself has a tumor and stage 4 heart disease. She has no home and is currently staying at her grandparents' house.

Showing the Party and State's concern for each citizen, the working delegation also visited and gave gifts to families in difficult circumstances and poor households in Nam Dan district, encouraging families and individuals to strive to improve their lives.

Visiting, giving gifts and wishing the staff of Nam Dan General Hospital a happy new year, the delegation wished the staff, doctors and nurses of the hospital good health and good work, improving their skills to provide the best health care for the people.
