Strong collision between truck and motorbike, one woman in critical condition

(Baonghean.vn) - At 10:00 a.m. on February 19, on National Highway 1A, through Quynh Van commune, Quynh Luu district, a serious traffic accident occurred, leaving a woman in critical condition.

According to witnesses, at the above time, a woman riding a motorbike with license plate 37-L1 398.22 traveling from Van market direction crossed the intersection with National Highway 1 to go home when she suddenly collided with a truck carrying construction materials with license plate 37C- 154.80 driven by Nguyen Duy Nghia (born in 1992), residing in block 10, Quynh Xuan ward, Hoang Mai town.

The strong impact sent the motorbike and the woman flying about 10 meters and falling onto the road. At the scene, the woman was seriously injured and was taken to the emergency room by local people.

Immediately after the accident, Quynh Luu district police were present at the scene to regulate traffic and clarify the cause of the incident.
