The National Assembly's supervisory delegation inspects the TH milk production process.
(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing its inspection program, on the morning of January 17th, the National Assembly's supervisory delegation on the implementation of food safety policies and laws inspected the milk production process at TH Milk Food Joint Stock Company.
The National Assembly's supervisory delegation was led by Comrade Phan Xuan Dung - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, and Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment.
Accompanying him were comrades Le Minh Thong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and representatives from relevant departments and agencies.

TH Farm has set a record for "the largest high-tech concentrated livestock farming cluster in Asia" with a barn and pasture area of 8,100 hectares, a herd size of over 45,000 pigs, of which more than 22,000 are currently producing milk, with an average milk yield of 30 liters/pig/day.

The National Assembly's supervisory delegation inspected the cattle farm, its water sources and filtration processes to ensure the health of the cows and the quality of the milk, as well as the feed sources and feed processing procedures for the cows.
Comrade Phan Xuan Dung - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment - highly appreciated TH Milk Food Joint Stock Company's compliance with guidelines and regulations on ensuring food hygiene and safety; and expressed his hope that the company would continue to apply modern and advanced technology to the production process to achieve the best milk quality while ensuring environmental hygiene.

Next, the delegation worked with the leaders of Dien Hoa, Dien Hong, Dien Thap, Dien Kim, Dien Ky, and Dien Yen communes (Dien Chau district) on the issue of food safety.

During the meeting, the leaders of the communes presented the current situation regarding food safety in their localities and made several recommendations to the National Assembly delegation, including: strengthening food safety inspection and supervision; providing technical support for identifying food quality; and more strictly controlling the infiltration of goods of unknown origin into the market.
After listening to the opinions, Comrade Phan Xuan Dung said he would discuss and work with management agencies and relevant departments to resolve the difficulties regarding the current state of food hygiene and safety.
