Brazil lost the ticket to the U20 FIFA World Cup to Argentina.

Before the final round of the South American Youth Championship, Brazil is ahead of Argentina by one point (5 compared to 4). If they defeat bottom team Colombia, Neymar's juniors will win tickets to join Uruguay, Ecuador and Venezuela in the U20 FIFA World Cup in South Korea.

Brazil completely dominated Colombia, creating many chances, but they were unable to convert that advantage into goals. The 0-0 draw cost the yellow-green team a ticket to the U20 FIFA World Cup, because in the same match Argentina won 2-0 against Venezuela thanks to a double from Lautaro Martinez.

Brazil's absence from the 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup is a big surprise. The country that produced football geniuses like Pele, Ronaldo, Neymar... has won the tournament five times, only one less than Argentina.

The FIFA U20 World Cup takes place from May 20 to June 11. In addition to host Korea, Asia has four representatives: Vietnam, Japan, Iran and Saudi Arabia. This is the first time in history that Vietnam has won the right to participate in this prestigious tournament.

To prepare for the U20 FIFA World Cup, Vietnam will gather in March. Coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his team will practice physical training in Nha Trang, before going to Germany and the Netherlands for training.
