According to RT, Mr. Trump posted on his Twitter page that, “If Mexico is not willing to pay for the desperately needed border wall, it would be best to cancel the upcoming meeting (with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto).”

Earlier, US President Donald Trump signed a special decree to build a wall along the border with Mexico and emphasized that the project would begin "immediately".

In response to Mr. Trump's decision, Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto declared to the nation that the country will not pay for the above-mentioned walls.

“I regret and condemn the decision of the United States to continue building the border wall that for years has divided us, instead of uniting us,” Enrique Pena Nieto declared.

In addition, the Mexican President is also considering canceling a meeting with his US counterpart Donald Trump scheduled to take place next week.
