| Justin Bieber has been nominated in two fairly important categories at this year's Grammy Awards. |
According to this site, Justin Bieber believes the Grammy Awards are "no longer relevant and no longer a musical icon, especially for young singers." This year, the "Boyfriend" singer received four nominations, including two major categories: Album of the Year (for Purpose) and Song of the Year (Love Yourself). Not long ago, there were rumors that the young singer wanted to temporarily retire from the music industry after the Purpose tour ended.
Rapper Kanye West may also skip the prestigious music awards ceremony, despite having won 21 Grammy Awards throughout his career. Kanye's stated reason is that he "always loses when competing against white rivals." Another source told US Weekly that the 39-year-old rapper wants to take a break after his hospitalization and the robbery involving his wife, Kim Kardashian.

Meanwhile, Drake was unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict with his European tour. The awards ceremony coincided with his performance at Manchester Stadium in England. The Canadian rapper received eight nominations this year, notably for Best Rap Song (Hotline Bling) and Record of the Year (Work, a collaboration with Rihanna).
Despite the absence of some of the big-name male vocalists mentioned above, the 59th Grammy Awards will be a vibrant event with a lineup of A-list artists such as Adele, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban.
This music party will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 12th.
