Son Thanh (Yen Thanh) builds a model new rural area in the period 2015-2020

(Baonghean) - In the past 5 years, Son Thanh commune (Yen Thanh) has implemented the construction of new rural areas quite systematically, closely following reality, so it has achieved encouraging results: Becoming the leading commune of the whole province in building new rural areas. This is a solid stepping stone for the commune to continue striving in the period 2015 - 2020, to be recognized as a model new rural commune.

Determining the construction of a new model rural area aims to change the face of the village to be rich, beautiful, civilized, modern, the material and spiritual life of the people is improved, there are no more poor households. To become a leading unit and develop comprehensively to achieve a new model rural commune according to Decision 5184 of the Provincial People's Committee dated January 5, 2015 for the period 2015 - 2020, making Son Thanh a "Rich, beautiful, civilized commune with no more poor households, income reaching over 80 million VND/person/year", Son Thanh has proposed the following specific solutions:

First: Continue to innovate thinking, ways of thinking, ways of doing, improve the quality of the political system, create consensus among the people, effectively exploit internal resources, and take advantage of external resources.

Second: Shifting the economic structure on the basis of implementing synchronous industrial measures in agriculture. Renovating and shifting the structure of 150.7 hectares of mixed gardens "Beautiful gardens with high income" truly "rise from the garden, reach far from the hill, the hill is the city, the hill is money". Accumulating land by contributing capital with shareholders on land 64 after conversion to create a large-scale production step to attract businesses and investors. Introducing livestock, converting crops to use value as a measure, breaking the practice of small-scale, fragmented production...

Third: Build infrastructure with key projects from 2015 - 2020. Restore cultural and spiritual works, ecological cemeteries, commercial centers... Synchronously develop the internal traffic and irrigation system with 40 km of concrete roads 5 - 9 m wide to bring machinery into agricultural production. Complete and upgrade the canal, lake and dam systems to prevent flooding and drought, and plan to build specialized fields. Comprehensively upgrade the criteria recognized before 2015.

Fourth: Invite scientists and investors to participate. Rely on science, scientists and investors to create a breakthrough in traditional production, shift crop structure, bring productivity, quality and product price to meet the purpose from production to consumption to become a closed chain.

Fifth: Planning and re-planning rural residential areas. Developing management regulations to gradually license rural housing; moving people to the hills; planning rural apartment areas after 2020.

Sixth: Strengthen environmental protection. In the short term, manage and implement environmental work well, treat organic waste, residential wastewater, industrial wastewater, mining, production... Seventh: Promote and improve the quality of education and training; truly socialize education, create trust among the masses.
