Ky Son conducts a review in accordance with Resolution No. 4 of the Central Committee (12th term).

(Baonghean.vn) - On July 22, the Standing Committee of the Ky Son District Party Committee held a conference to review collective and individual performance in accordance with the spirit of Resolution No. 4 of the Central Committee (12th term) on strengthening Party building and rectification; preventing and repelling the decline in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle, and the manifestations of 'self-evolution' and 'self-transformation' within the Party.

The conference heard Comrade Vi Hoè - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, and Chairman of the People's Council - report on the draft self-criticism report of the Standing Committee in accordance with Resolution No. 4 of the Central Committee (12th term), focusing on the manifestations of ideological and political degradation, moral decay, lifestyle deviations, and self-evolution and self-transformation among cadres and Party members.

Following the collective review, based on the responsibilities, duties, and self-assessments of each Standing Committee member, the Standing Committee held a democratic discussion, contributing many opinions in a spirit of unity, frankness, and quality. The conference seriously reviewed self-criticism and criticism, focusing on clarifying strengths and weaknesses, and clearly defining responsibilities for each task assigned to the members of the District Party Committee's Standing Committee.

Comrade Le Quoc Khanh, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, delivered a speech at the conference.

The contributions at the conference clearly indicated that the Standing Committee and its members have consistently remained steadfast, united, and cohesive, implementing numerous policies and measures to lead and guide the fight against manifestations of ideological, political, moral, and lifestyle degradation; there have been no signs of "self-evolution" or "self-transformation"; and they have not violated the 27 manifestations of degradation outlined in Resolution 4 of the 12th Central Committee.

Along with that, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee frankly reviewed and pointed out a number of shortcomings and limitations, including some grassroots officials initially showing signs of laziness in studying Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought; not diligently studying and researching the Party's guidelines, policies, and resolutions, and the State's laws and regulations. They were not actively studying politics and resolutions, and the quality of their studies was not high. There were signs of conservatism and stagnation, and slowness to innovate thinking. Some Party organizations and members showed signs of deference, avoidance, and reluctance to confront issues in self-criticism and criticism. Some units showed signs of wasting time and violating Directive 17 of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee…

The solutions proposed for effectively implementing the resolution in the coming period include strengthening political and ideological education on ethics and lifestyle for cadres and Party members; fully understanding the Party's guidelines, policies, resolutions, regulations, and instructions, as well as the laws of the State; and effectively implementing Resolution No. 4 of the Central Committee (12th Congress) in conjunction with implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style.

Regularly monitor the internal and external situation to prevent hostile forces from gathering, propagating, and mobilizing, and to prevent hotspots and prominent issues from occurring in the area. Strengthen close contact with the grassroots, especially with comrades in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee assigned to oversee grassroots areas, to attend conferences, especially self-criticism and criticism meetings; promptly gather information and public opinion and address issues as soon as they arise at the grassroots level. Strengthen the inspection and supervision work of functional agencies in the implementation of the Provincial Party Committee's Directive 17 and the Government's Directive 26.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Le Quoc Khanh, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, highly appreciated the preparation of the self-criticism report by the Standing Committee and its members. During the self-criticism, they boldly contributed opinions, spoke truthfully and accurately, frankly, democratically, and openly, without hesitation…; the solutions proposed by the Standing Committee and its members for the future to implement the resolution are closely aligned with reality… He requested that, after this conference, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee direct grassroots party organizations and individual party members to sincerely examine themselves against the manifestations of degradation pointed out in Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (12th Congress) in order to relate, self-criticize, and overcome them.
