On the afternoon of March 4, Yen Thanh District Police said that the unit was temporarily detaining two suspects to investigate the acts of "Illegal possession of narcotics" and "Illegal trading of narcotics".

Previously, at around 11:15 a.m. on March 3, at Hamlet 8, My Thanh Commune, the police discovered and caught Bui Van Tri (born in 1994, residing in Hamlet 4, Vien Thanh Commune) in the act of illegally possessing drugs. Searching the subject, the police seized 0.3g of heroin.

At 7:45 p.m. the same day, also at Hamlet 8, My Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District Police continued to catch Vo Van Huy (born in 1973, residing in Block 9, Do Luong Town) in the act of illegally buying and selling drugs. The seized evidence was 27 grams of heroin, a can of pepper spray, 3 sharp knives, and 2 mobile phones.
