“Over the past 6 years, the 12 TPP countries have made great efforts to negotiate and sign the TPP, a new generation free trade agreement. If implemented, the TPP will meet the common interests of all member countries, not only creating new momentum for economic and trade relations between countries, but also having important significance for cooperation, economic connectivity and stability and prosperity of the Asia-Pacific region.

Vietnam considers participation in the TPP and other FTAs as one of the steps to implement the policy of proactively and actively integrating deeply and comprehensively into the economy, perfecting the legal system and market economic institutions, creating new momentum for development, and at the same time contributing to the trend of regional economic integration and linkage.

Accordingly, Vietnam will continue the innovation process and step up domestic preparations to ensure effective implementation of the commitments of the FTAs that Vietnam has participated in and will participate in”./.
