The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee attended the seminar commemorating International Women's Day.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 107th anniversary of International Women's Day and the 1977th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, the Trade Union of the Provincial Party Committee Office, in coordination with the trade unions of the Party building departments, organized a seminar to exchange views on the history of women's rights movements around the world and the glorious traditions of Vietnamese women throughout history.

Comrade Nguyen Van Thong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, attended and delivered a congratulatory speech to the Women's Union of the Provincial Party Committee Office and the female civil servants and officials working at the Provincial Party Committee Office. The Deputy Secretary acknowledged and praised the female cadres, civil servants, and officials of the Party building departments and the Provincial Party Committee Office for continuing the fine traditions of Vietnamese women, promoting their role and position in the new situation, excelling in both public and private work, and successfully fulfilling their assigned advisory and service tasks. They are also actively building happy, prosperous, equal, and progressive families. |
The Provincial Party Committee Office and Party building departments have a total of 56 women out of 195 cadres, workers, and civil servants, accounting for 28.7%; comprising 6 women's groups associated with 6 different specialized agencies. Although facing many difficulties, with the attention of the Party Committee, leadership, and the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the agencies, the women have made good use of favorable conditions and overcome difficult circumstances to successfully complete all assigned tasks, actively participating in the activities of the agency and the trade union.
In 2016, one women's group received a commendation from the Trade Union of Civil Servants for its outstanding performance in the field of "Excellent in Public Service, Competent in Household Management" (Women's Group of the Propaganda Department). Fourteen women received awards at various levels. These included one woman with a Third-Class Labor Medal, two women with Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, four women with Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, three women with Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee, and four women with Certificates of Merit from various sectors.
