Mitsubishi launches new Grand Lancer sedan

Still belonging to the 9th generation of the C-class Lancer sedan line that was launched 10 years ago, however, the Mitsubishi Grand Lancer has had many changes in the exterior. Both the front and rear of the car have been completely redesigned according to the company's latest Dynamic Shield language, along with changes such as the new 5-spoke alloy wheels.

The new Grand Lancer's Dynamic Shield front end is quite similar to the Outlander.

Inside, the Lancer has also been completely redesigned with a dashboard in the style of the Triton pickup, an infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen and a digital clock with a 10.2-inch screen. In addition, the car also has a better soundproofed cabin.

The Grand Lancer's interior is more modern.

Despite the many changes in the interior and exterior, the old powertrain of the Lancer is still retained on the Grand Lancer. The car has a 1.8l SOHC 4-cylinder engine with a capacity of 139 horsepower/maximum torque of 172 Nm and combined with a CVT automatic transmission.

The Grand Lancer will be the final version of the Lancer line.

In Taiwan, the Grand Lancer will start at NT$679,000 (VND500 million). While it is still sold in Taiwan, China and some other Asian countries, Mitsubishi will stop producing the Lancer line worldwide at the end of this year./.
