Caught 'hot' 2 subjects transporting 30 heroin cakes

At 6:00 p.m. on February 22, in Co Cham village, Long Luong commune, Van Ho district, Son La province, Van Ho district police presided over and coordinated with Working Group 279 of Son La provincial police and Moc Chau district police to discover and arrest 2 subjects in the act of illegally transporting drugs.

The two arrested subjects are Pham Van Hiep (born in 1981) and Nguyen Truong Trung (born in 1992), both residing in Ea Kar district, Dak Lak province. Evidence seized at the scene included 30 heroin bricks, two motorbikes and some other related evidence. Pham Van Hiep has a previous conviction for murder. Nguyen Truong Trung has a previous conviction for theft.

The incident is under further investigation.
