The accident occurred at around 6:30 a.m. on February 23 on National Highway 48 through Dien Lam commune, Dien Chau district.

According to initial information, at the above time, a truck carrying white stone with license plate 37C - 130.23 was traveling in the direction of Quy Hop district - Dien Chau. When reaching the above road section, it collided with a truck with license plate 29C - 005.08 traveling in the opposite direction.

The truck carrying rocks overturned into the rice field by the roadside.

The strong collision caused the rock truck to lose control and overturn into the rice field on the side of the road, while the truck with license plate 29C - 005.08 suffered severe damage to the front end. The driver was seriously injured and was taken to the emergency room by local people immediately after.

The cause of the incident is currently being investigated by the police.
