Urinating next to the railway, man was hit by train and in critical condition

(Baonghean.vn) - At around 9:15 a.m. on February 27, on the North-South railway, km 241+200, through Quynh Thien ward, Hoang Mai town, a railway traffic accident occurred, leaving a man in critical condition.

Initial information said that at the above time, a man about 50 years old, (identity not yet determined) residing in Quynh Lap commune, Hoang Mai town parked his motorbike on the side of National Highway 1A, went to the toilet next to the railway (where the railway parallels the road) and due to lack of observation, collided with the rear of freight train SBN2 traveling from Vinh to Hanoi.

As a result, the train threw the victim nearly 3 meters away, causing serious injury.

Immediately after the accident, local people promptly took the victim to the hospital for emergency treatment. Currently, Hoang Mai town police are coordinating with the railway industry to investigate the cause of the incident./.
