(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 20th, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Nghi Dien commune (Nghi Loc district) held a meeting with religious leaders and officials of religious organizations in the area.

At the meeting, the leaders of Nghi Dien commune affirmed that in 2016, the priests, nuns, and members of the pastoral councils of the parishes and sub-parishes regularly coordinated with the commune's government and Fatherland Front to propagate and mobilize the people to care for socio-economic development, practice "living a good life and upholding moral values," and fulfill their civic responsibilities.

In a friendly and open atmosphere, the priests expressed their gratitude to the Party Committee and the government for their attention and support in expanding the church grounds of Xã Đoài parish church and for approving the procedures to expand the grounds of the 19/3 Center for Disabled and Orphaned Children.

Representatives of religious leaders, officials, and orders were present at the meeting.

We thank the authorities at all levels for their excellent work in ensuring security and order, creating favorable conditions for the church to successfully organize many major ceremonies, leaving a positive impression on visitors from near and far to Xa Doai (Nghi Dien).

Representatives of religious organizations also expressed their desire for the Nghi Dien commune authorities to find solutions to stabilize the electricity network, improve the quality of drinking water, ensure production, and serve the lives of the people; and to pay attention to resolving traffic safety issues at market and school entrances.
