US awaits new missile launch in North Korea

The US military believes North Korea could launch a new missile within the next few days, the Associated Press news agency quoted an unnamed US official as saying.

According to the news agency, the US military recorded the movement of the launch pad as well as the construction of a special box for the country's leaders in the city of Vosan on the coast of Japan.

US officials say it is not yet known what type of missile North Korea intends to fire.
