As one of the four sacred temples of Nghe An, Bach Ma Temple was built in the 15th century, worshiping General Phan Da - who had great merit in driving out the Ming invaders to liberate the country. The temple was recognized by the State as a Historical, Cultural and Architectural Relic in 1994. The annual Bach Ma Temple Festival is a big festival with many ritual activities, sports competitions, folk games, art performances, poetry festivals, beauty contests... attracting a large number of people and tourists from all over the world to attend. |
