Prosecuted 4 farmers for gambling for money

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 20, the Investigation Police Agency of Nghi Loc District Police issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecuting 4 defendants for gambling on cards.

Four subjects were arrested

Four subjects including: Phung Anh Tuan (born in 1995), residing in Long Xuan hamlet; Hoang Quoc Viet (born in 1980), residing in Long Dong hamlet, Nghi Khanh commune; Nguyen Dinh Hong (born in 1974), residing in hamlet 5, Nghi Hop commune; Phung Duc Cong (born in 1968), residing in Dong Quyen block, Nghi Thu ward, Cua Lo town to investigate and clarify gambling behavior.

Previously, at 2:30 p.m. on March 15, a patrolling police team from Nghi Loc district discovered a gambling group at the house of Mr. Hoang Van Nghia (born in 1969) in Khanh Nghia hamlet, Nghi Khanh commune. The team raided and caught the four subjects red-handed.

Evidence of the case.

Evidence seized from the gambling table: 8 million 430 thousand VND, 1 deck of playing cards, 3 mobile phones. Among the 4 subjects, Phung Duc Cong was previously administratively punished by Cua Lo Town Police for gambling.

The case is currently under further investigation by the authorities.
