Ms. Dao also said that these chickens are very tame, have good endurance, beautiful plumage, and are quite aggressive. From the moment they hatch from the egg, the chicks already begin to develop spurs on their legs. Photo: Ho Phuong

Mr. Lo Kham Kha, Head of the Agriculture and Rural Development Department of Tuong Duong district, said: "The flock of 'nine-spurred' chickens belonging to Ms. Lu Thi Dao's family is one of the most unusual cases in Tuong Duong district. Although the district is mostly hilly and mountainous, with relatively similar terrain in the villages, only Ms. Dao's family has this special type of multi-spurred chicken."Photo by Ho Phuong
