(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of April 19, the Provincial Military Command held a conference to review 3 years of implementing the Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the Provincial Party Committee and Armed Forces, period 2014 - 2017.

Attending and directing the conference, on the side of the Military Region's leaders, there was Colonel Nguyen Duc Hoa - Political Commissar of the Military Region 4 Command. On the side of Nghe An province, there was comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of provincial departments and branches.

The implementation of the campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers" has contributed to building the provincial armed forces politically strong, creating a basis for improving overall quality and combat strength, meeting the requirements of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.

Thanks to that, up to now, the awareness, thoughts and actions of all cadres, party members, employees and soldiers, especially cadres in charge at all levels, have had positive and synchronous changes. 100% of cadres, party members and union members have political mettle, a steadfast and firm ideological stance, pure moral qualities, a clean and healthy lifestyle; are loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people; raise revolutionary vigilance, fight to defeat all plots and tricks of "peaceful evolution" and violent overthrow by hostile forces; proactively prevent and effectively fight all manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation"...

From 2014 to 2016, the Provincial Military Command mobilized 44,132 working days, built more than 430 km of inter-village and inter-commune roads, built 40 km of intra-field canals; propagated cadres, militia and people to donate 6,570 m2 of land worth 1,648 million VND to build rural roads; mobilized ethnic minorities not to raise poultry and livestock under stilt houses for more than 500 households; mobilized cadres and professional soldiers to donate more than 800 million VND to support policy families and poor students who love to study and build Great Unity houses for poor families.

Typically, there are some units with good and creative ways of doing things, suitable to the local characteristics and capabilities of the unit such as: National Defense Economic Group 4; officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command, Military Commands of Que Phong, Quynh Luu districts, Hoang Mai town, Quy Chau, Hung Nguyen, Regiment 764, Provincial Military School...

Within the framework of the conference, the advanced models in the campaign “Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho’s soldiers” exchanged and shared experiences and memories during their work. Especially technical innovation initiatives; mass mobilization work in remote, isolated and special areas...

In the next phase, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command will continue to make the content of the campaign a regular activity of the Party organization and mass organization, associated with the effective implementation of the Resolution of the 4th Central Committee (Term XII) and the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2015-2020 term, in depth, practically and effectively, contributing to improving the overall quality and combat strength of the provincial armed forces; building truly strong Party organizations and Party cells to successfully complete all tasks in the new phase.
