On April 11, Quynh Luu District Police destroyed 235 kg of animal fat of unknown origin and giving off a foul odor.

Recently, after receiving a report from the people in Block 6, Cau Giat town, that a young man was transporting beef and pork fat - a dirty food, the Working Group of Quynh Luu District Police quickly went to inspect and seized 5 foam boxes of animal fat weighing 235 kg... At the time of inspection, the owner of the goods could not present documents proving the origin of the above goods, and did not have a quarantine certificate as prescribed.

Through working at the police agency, the subject confessed that his name was Doan Van Khanh in hamlet 7, Quynh Hong commune and that the above amount of fat was stored from different slaughterhouses and then packed in foam boxes and transported by passenger bus to Hanoi and the northern provinces for consumption.

The district police have administratively handled Doan Van Khanh's violations and established a council to destroy all of the above animal products according to regulations.
