Hundreds of people's electrical equipment burned

(Baonghean.vn) - In the early morning of April 11, lighting equipment and household electrical appliances of many households in Dai Bac village (Quynh Long commune, Quynh Luu) were caught on fire.

According to many households in Dai Bac village, when people woke up and turned on the lights, the lights suddenly short-circuited and burned out. Not only that, household electrical appliances such as televisions, refrigerators, fans, water pumps, water purifiers, etc. were also short-circuited and damaged.

Mr. Hoang Viet Bao, a resident of Dai Bac village, said: Most of the households in our village suffered property damage. My family lost a washing machine, electric fan, and light bulb...

Many households are upset and believe that the reason why household items caught fire is because the electricity industry's electrical system is not guaranteed.

Mr. Tran Van Nguyen - Chairman of Quynh Long Commune People's Committee said that the local government has grasped the incident and reported to the district electricity department for solutions and repairs, and at the same time announced on the loudspeaker system for people to limit electricity use, avoiding overload that could cause short circuits and explosions.

Previously, at 6:15 p.m. on April 9, at the 35/0.4 kV transformer station No. 3 Quynh Long with a capacity of 320 kVA supplying electricity to 550 households in Dai Bac village, Phu Lien, a fire broke out in the transformer and equipment in the medium voltage room on the 35 kV side.

By 7:20 p.m. on April 10, the electricity sector had resolved the transformer fire incident. At the same time, power supply was restored to production and daily life of people in the area.

However, after restoring power supply to households in Phu Lien and Dai Bac villages, the above incident occurred.
