Mr. Pham Van Khanh (born in 1984) comes from a large family. The family's life depends mainly on agriculture, so the situation is very difficult. Without the opportunity to study, Mr. Khanh had to drop out of school to work in the South to earn money to support his family. After doing many jobs to make a living, Mr. Khanh decided to learn mechanics so that he could return to his hometown to start a business. After mastering the profession, in 2011, he returned to his hometown to borrow from the bank, relatives received 50 million VND and started to open a mechanical workshop.

At first, he encountered many difficulties due to the small number of customers ordering, unsold products, while salaries still had to be paid regularly to workers. To maintain the workshop, Mr. Khanh sometimes had to borrow money at high interest rates. However, he still persistently pursued his dream of getting rich. To let customers know about his workshop, in addition to finding a market, he also affirmed the quality of the products he made. Mr. Khanh's mechanical workshop specializes in manufacturing stainless steel products such as stair railings, glass railings, gates, etc. "Thanks to finding a market and understanding customer needs, production and sales of products are somewhat more favorable than before. The market has been expanded to neighboring communes and some neighboring districts," Mr. Khanh shared.

Having achieved initial success, in 2016, Mr. Khanh invested an additional 300 million VND to expand the workshop to 4,000m2 and purchased some specialized machinery. In order to promptly supply products to the market, he recruited a number of local workers to train and create jobs. Currently, his mechanical workshop has 5 regular workers, with an average income of 250,000 - 300,000 VND/person/day. The stainless steel products are very diverse, so they are widely used by customers in and outside the district, even exported to Laos. Currently, he not only accepts orders for production and installation at households but also accepts production for large stores specializing in stainless steel products.

Sharing about the work to maintain the market and customers, Mr. Khanh said that the facility always produces according to market demand; whatever models and designs customers need, the facility will fully meet them, avoiding not being able to meet the needs, causing the facility to lose customers and fall into difficulties.

With his boldness and quickness in doing business, Mr. Khanh's mechanical workshop is developing strongly with beautiful, high-quality products that are favored by customers. From mechanical production, Mr. Khanh earns an income of 250 - 300 million VND/year; in addition, he also creates jobs for many local workers. Mr. Hoang Dinh Tien, a worker at Mr. Khanh's workshop, said that all products are made by machine, so the work is not too hard. The facility always has many orders, especially from February to July and at the end of the year. Working here, we are paid 8-10 million VND/month.

In addition to actively developing the family economy, Mr. Khanh is also one of the young people who have active activities in the locality. Although he is a Catholic, Mr. Khanh always has the mindset of living a "good life and good religion" to join hands and contribute to building his homeland to become more and more prosperous.
