Luis Enrique was completely impressed by Juventus.
(Baonghean.vn) - After the second leg of the quarter-final match against Juventus on the morning of April 20th, the Spanish strategist told reporters: They (Juventus) have a great coach!
In a match where Juventus completely neutralized the attacks of Neymar, Messi, and Suarez, the goalless draw was still fortunate for Barcelona, as their counter-attacks were relatively harmless. Losing 0-3 on aggregate, coach Luis Enrique had nothing to complain about his players and had to accept their defeat in the Champions League.

The Spanish strategist told reporters: "That's how football is; we want to play fast with lots of shots, but the forwards lacked accuracy in the final stages. Barcelona took 14 shots but none were successful."
This was a beautiful, fantastic match for both teams. We played with great determination and I'm pleased about that. The first leg in Turin was terrible and led to our elimination. Even now, the moments from that match in Turin still haunt me...
Congratulations to Juventus! They have a great coach, great players, and they have everything they need to win the Champions League this season.”
The coach also admitted that Barcelona did not execute their plan correctly upon returning to Nou Camp. He argued that the Spanish team, wanting to play a spectacular game, had strikers like Neymar, Messi, and Suarez being too hasty in their approach to the goal.
Regarding Juventus, coach M. Allegri was quite modest: “This is a great achievement against a very strong opponent. Juventus didn't start badly. However, after that, we had to take a defensive stance when Barcelona imposed their style of play. Now we have to enjoy the feeling of victory. And in the next two days, we will think about the next matches and, further ahead, the championship.”

Nevertheless, the Italian coach still pointed out Juventus's shortcomings in the match: "We need to improve our ball control and overall game, but against Barcelona it was very difficult; they pushed the game at such a fast pace. Only by overcoming ourselves did we get this result. In the second half, we played with five midfielders, but our counter-attacks and defensive efforts were still ineffective."
Match statistics show that Barcelona had 61% possession. Barca and Juventus had 17 and 12 shots on goal respectively. The match ended with tears from Neymar and jubilation from coach M. Allegri and his team. Messi, however, looked dejected despite his highly-rated performance.
