(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of April 30, the Party Committee and government of Quynh Ngoc commune held a ceremony to announce and receive the Certificate of recognition for meeting the New Rural Standards in 2016.

To complete 19/19 criteria, in the past time, the commune has mobilized nearly 180 billion VND, of which people contributed over 120 billion (accounting for 65%). Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Party Committee, government and people of Quynh Ngoc commune. In order to maintain and further promote the quality of the criteria set, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the commune will continue to well implement infrastructure planning and socio-economic development, improve the capacity of the management board for new rural construction; effectively integrate resources for new rural construction; have a plan to focus on developing production, increasing the value of goods, producing according to the value chain to increase people's income; do a good job of environmental sanitation, ensuring clean water in rural areas...

At the ceremony, provincial leaders awarded 500 million VND to Quynh Ngoc commune and awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with achievements in building new rural areas in the period 2011-2016.
Quynh Luu District People's Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with achievements in the new rural construction movement and awarded Certificates of recognition for achieving the title of Cultural Village to 11 villages in the period 2014-2016.
