A South Korean medical team provided free medical examinations to 1,600 impoverished people.
(Baonghean.vn) - On May 5th and 6th, in Luc Da commune, Con Cuong district, the Deajeon City Doctors Association of South Korea organized free medical examinations and provided free medicine to 1,600 poor people.

Accordingly, nearly 20 doctors from the Deajeon City Doctors Association (South Korea) participated in general health screenings and provided free medicine to 1,600 poor people in the two communes of Mon Son and Luc Da. Of these, 1,100 were in Luc Da commune and 500 in Mon Son commune.

Residents received general health check-ups, including ultrasound, electrocardiogram, and blood glucose measurement as prescribed; they were also given medication and health care advice free of charge. 120 people received intravenous nutritional support. The team also collaborated with Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital to perform cleft lip and palate surgery on 6 children.
