Strengthening security and order in the tourism sector

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 5, Nghe An Provincial Police coordinated with the Department of Tourism to sign a regulation on coordination in protecting national security and ensuring security and order in the tourism sector.

Attending the signing ceremony were Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police; Comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong - Director of the Department of Tourism and representatives of the departments and offices of the two units.

At the meeting, the two units agreed on a number of contents in the coordination regulations such as exchanging information on the security and order situation, methods and tricks of hostile forces and criminals who often take advantage of the tourism sector to operate; information on organizations and individuals in the tourism sector who participate in complex activities related to politics, security and order; information on organizations and individuals conducting tourism business activities in violation of the law...

In particular, the coordination regulations clarify the responsibilities of each unit in providing and processing information about Nghe An delegations going abroad, foreign organizations and individuals entering Nghe An; information about foreign individuals operating tourism in Nghe An; information about key areas of national defense and security that require consultation with the police before opening new tourist routes and destinations.

Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau - Director of the Provincial Police Department affirmed that, identifying the position, role and importance of the tourism industry not only in the cultural field but also as a spearhead for economic development, the Provincial Police Department is ready to actively coordinate so that tourism activities in the area can increasingly develop safely and sustainably.

Within the framework of the working session, leaders of the two units signed regulations on coordination in protecting national security and ensuring security and order in the tourism sector./.
