(Baonghean.vn) - Mr. Nguyen Hong, residing in Chua Hamlet, Hop Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, possesses a strange chicken egg shaped like a gourd.

Mr. Hong recounted: On March 20th, while checking the chicken coop, he found a strange egg. The egg wasn't oval-shaped as usual, but rather resembled a gourd, and was larger and heavier than a normal chicken egg.

Mr. Hong said that this hen, weighing about 2 kg, had laid many clutches of eggs, but this was the first time it had produced such a bizarre egg. Because of its unique shape, Mr. Hong didn't dare use it for cooking and kept it as a memento.
