The entrance exam score is the total score of three exams calculated according to the coefficient and additional points for priority and incentive subjects. Successful candidates must not have any exam with a score of 0. The entrance exam results for grade 10 are not only the basis for admission to high schools but also the basis for admission to Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School and Boarding Ethnic High School.
The continuous selection of Foreign Languages for the past 5 years has not surprised many teachers and parents. However, because the exam subjects are only announced about 2 weeks before the end of the school year, the review process at schools has become "passive" and students have encountered many difficulties in the review process.
Previously, many localities also organized exams for 9th grade students and the Departments of Education and Training often chose Foreign Languages to test and evaluate students.
