Fire burned down entire stilt house, 8 year old girl luckily escaped death

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 21, a fire broke out in the stilt house of Ms. Loc Thi Anh in Son Khe village, Chi Khe commune (Con Cuong, Nghe An), burning down the entire house. Her daughter was lucky to escape.

The initial cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit. Only Loc Thi Phuong Linh, 8 years old, daughter of Loc Thi Anh, was home when the fire broke out. The hot sun and strong winds completely burned down the thatched-roof house. Phuong Linh was lucky to escape and was not injured.

After the fire broke out, Con Cuong district leaders visited and encouraged the family, hoping they would soon overcome the difficulties.

Loc Thi Anh's family situation is also very pitiful. Her family is poor, she and her husband have two daughters, the eldest daughter Loc Thi Phuong, 14 years old, has kidney failure and has to undergo regular dialysis, and she and her husband are often sick. After years of saving up to build a house, now it was completely burned down by the fire, all the household items, clothes, papers, and books are gone.
