Yen Thanh Veterans Protest the Wrongdoings of Extremist Priests

Through research on information channels, clips about the violations of priest Dang Huu Nam in recent times, such as: taking advantage of parishioners marching and protesting outside the church grounds, taking advantage of sermons in churches to distort history, insulting the honor and dignity of millions of Vietnamese people who did not hesitate to shed blood and fight and sacrifice to protect the independence and freedom of the nation.

More than 500 veterans representing over 14,000 members of the Yen Thanh District Veterans Association expressed their indignation, strongly condemning and opposing the plot and actions of priest Dang Huu Nam in denying the revolutionary achievements of the Party, the nation and our people; dividing the great national unity bloc, causing insecurity and disorder in the area. The priest's words and actions seriously violated the law, violated international conventions on children's rights; seriously insulted the honor and dignity of millions of Vietnamese people who heroically fought and sacrificed to protect the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Accordingly, the veteran of Yen Thanh district also passed a resolution and requested: Mr. Dang Huu Nam must strictly comply with Vietnamese law, immediately stop all activities against and dividing the great national unity bloc, and sabotage the history of the revolution. The central ministries, the Vatican, and the Vietnamese Bishops' Council clearly pointed out the plot and tricks of the priest. The relevant agencies need to take measures to prevent and strictly handle priest Dang Huu Nam before the law.
