Defeating Angers, PSG catches up with Monaco

Early morning of April 15, in the early match of round 32 of the French Championship (Ligue 1), midfielder Angel Di Maria scored both goals, helping Paris Saint Germain (PSG) defeat Angers 2-0 at Raymond Kopa Stadium to catch up with Monaco at the top of the rankings.

With this victory, PSG has 74 points and has risen to catch up with Monaco at the top of the rankings. However, due to a lower goal difference and having played one more match, PSG is still behind Monaco.
