"We are holding NATO countries to their full obligations," Trump said at a rally of supporters in Harrisburg.
Washington's NATO allies "have started paying billions of dollars," he said, but he promised not to stop until "everyone pays what they owe."
Trump said that "America has doubled its military budget over the past eight years." According to him, the rest of NATO countries have not done the same.
"It's not fair," the US President said. In addition, the head of the administration pledged to "restore the US armed forces."
“Maintaining American primacy means restoring our armed forces, and we have begun that process,” he said.
