6 areas to avoid for safe swimming in Cua Lo beach
(Baonghean.vn) - Dangerous deep sea areas in Cua Lo shift year by year and season by season. Below is a map of the zoning for summer 2017.
1. Binh Minh Square
The most dangerous and stable coves are located right in front of the Binh Minh Square area. Formed by the sedimentation of the flow, each of these coves has a radius of about 50m, the depth of the cove is about 1m different from the bottom, the bottom of the cove is often muddy.
At high tide, these deep pools are about 250m from the water's edge, but at low tide they are only 50m from the water's edge.
2. Lan Chau Island Area
This area has many reefs, especially in the East and South of the island. The oyster reefs are sharp as knives. When the tide goes out, they often create strong whirlpools that suck sand out, forming deep holes. If you swim here at low tide, you are very likely to get into trouble.
3. Provincial Party Committee Guesthouse - Pacific Hotel
The lagoon in this area frequently shifts vertically and horizontally seasonally and is unstable. The lagoon is 1m deeper than the bottom and contains a lot of thin mud.
4. Tay Do Hotel (South of Binh Minh Square)
The lagoon is located right in front of Tay Do Hotel, about 300m from the water's edge at high tide, 50m long, and 1m deeper than the bottom.
5. Hoa Hai Beach (in front of Cua Lo Golf Course)
