Military Region 4 commends 19 outstanding collectives and individuals in studying and following Uncle Ho
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 24, in Vinh City (Nghe An), the Military Region 4 Command held the 3rd 5-year review conference of the emulation movement "Building and managing regular, green, clean, and beautiful barracks" in the period 2012 - 2017.

Last 5 years,emulation movement (PTTĐ) "Building and managing regular, green, clean, and beautiful barracks" has always been a concern for the Party Committees and commanders of agencies and units, leading, directing, and implementing synchronously and comprehensively; at the same time, it has always received help and support from the Party Committees, authorities, and local people.
Thanks to that, the movement has spread widely and achieved many practical results. Notably, the planning of barracks has been systematic, scientific, and has a strategic vision.

The work of managing national defense land, constructing and managing barracks is carried out strictly, effectively and safely. The awareness and responsibility of soldiers in managing equipment, using electricity and water economically, and maintaining environmental sanitation are enhanced. The barracks of agencies and units are spacious, standardized, green, clean and beautiful. The material and spiritual life of officers and soldiers is constantly improved, contributing to the successful completion of assigned tasks by agencies and units.
In the coming time, the conference determined to continue promoting the program "Building and managing regular, green, clean, beautiful barracks" to develop in breadth and depth. Agencies and units focus on improving the quality and efficiency of basic construction investment, maintenance of works, ensuring electricity and water, building green, clean, beautiful landscapes; constantly improving the material and spiritual life of soldiers in terms of food, accommodation, living, environmental sanitation... contributing to improving the overall quality of the Military Region's armed forces, successfully completing military and defense tasks in response to new requirements and tasks.

At the conference, the Steering Committee of the Campaign “Army Logistics Sector Follows Uncle Ho's Teachings” of the Military Region commended 19 collectives and individuals; proposed the Ministry of National Defense to award the Emulation Flag to Division 968 and a Certificate of Merit to the Barracks Department (Logistics Department); proposed the Director of the General Department of Logistics to award titles to 3 collectives and 2 individuals who had achievements in implementing the Campaign “Building and managing regular, green, clean, and beautiful barracks” in the period 2012 - 2017.
