Clinton had access to classified information even after leaving her position as Secretary of State.

Former US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and six of her aides had access to national security secrets, even after she left her position as Secretary of State in 2013. This was reported by Fox News, citing Republican Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa.

According to this channel's data, Clinton's aides maintained access to classified documents even as she ran for president in April 2015. As the Senator stated, Clinton's assistants had access to the information under the pretext of working on her memoir.

However, Grassley noted that the opportunity to examine this reason would only arise once the Obama team had left the White House.

"I have repeatedly questioned the State Department about whether it has suspended or revoked the credentials of Secretary Clinton and her aides, but the Obama administration has refused to answer my question," Senator Grassley stated in a letter dated March 30 to Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. According to him, former Secretary of State John Kerri ignored his requests in 2015 and 2016.
