Nghe An: Couple carrying 1 heroin cake and 1,000 pink pills to deliver goods were caught

(Baonghean.vn) - While carrying 1 heroin cake and 1,000 ecstasy pills over the mountain to deliver to a customer, De and Po were arrested by the police at Chuoi slope in Tri Le commune (Que Phong).

On April 3, the Provincial Drug Crime Investigation Police Department coordinated with Traffic Police Team 48, under the Road and Railway Traffic Police Department, to arrest Tho Ba De (born 1980) and Va Ba Po (born 1988), both residing in Tri Le commune, Que Phong district, for possessing drugs.

Earlier that morning, De and Po carried the goods they bought from Laos and packed up and crossed the mountain to deliver to customers as previously agreed. Arriving at Chuoi slope in Tri Le commune (Que Phong), both of these subjects were targeted by detectives.

When they saw the police, De and Po intended to throw the goods down the cliff and escape, but before they could do so, the police arrived and subdued them. The evidence confiscated was 1 heroin cake and 1,000 pink pills.

The police are detaining both suspects to continue investigating the case.
