Donald Trump: 'America will handle the North Korea problem without China'
US President Donald Trump has warned that his country is ready to take the toughest measures against North Korea, if China does not do enough to rein in its ally.
"If China is not going to solve North Korea, we will," President Donald Trump told the Financial Times. To underscore the weight of his words, Trump added: "That's all I want to say to people."

The current administration of President Donald Trump identifies North Korea as the greatest danger to US national security.
"There is a possibility that North Korea could launch a nuclear missile towards the US by the end of Trump's term," national security adviser KT McFarland told the Financial Times.
This week, Mr. Trump will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. The most important content of this meeting is expected to be the containment of North Korea — China's ally.
"China has great influence over North Korea," President Trump said, adding that he would rely on China to control its neighbor.
Mr. Trump also admitted that the worst-case scenario is that China will not help the US restrain North Korea. However, Mr. Trump is confident that the US is "absolutely" capable of solving this problem.
Despite his confidence, the US President did not specify what his government would do to force North Korea to abandon its nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
"I'm not going to tell people about the plan. You know, our administration is not the America of the past. We're not going to tell the press where we're going to hit in the Middle East like the previous administration did," Mr. Trump said.
