Young men slashed each other on the dike, 1 person in critical condition

(Baonghean.vn) - Two groups of young people from Quynh Long commune (Quynh Luu, Nghe An) had a conflict and then made an appointment to go to the sea dike to resolve it. As a result, one young man was slashed many times and had to be rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

On the afternoon of April 7, the Quynh Long Commune Police Department (Quynh Luu) said they had summoned four young men from the commune to work to clarify the fight that left one person seriously injured on the evening of April 6.

Previously, at around 9:30 p.m. on April 6, on the sea dike in Thanh Cong village, Nguyen Trung Duc (born 1998) and Ho Van Son (born 1995) had a loud argument with Nguyen Duc Tai (born 1996), all residing in Quynh Long commune (Quynh Luu).

Then, Tai called Vu Van Tu (born in 1995), residing in the same Quynh Long commune, to come and resolve the conflict with Nguyen Trung Duc's group.

After the argument, Vu Van Tu took out a knife he had hidden on him and slashed Nguyen Trung Duc many times, causing Duc to fall to the ground. At the same time, Tran Minh Toan (born in 1996) saw the two groups fighting and tried to stop them but was unsuccessful. Toan saw Tu picking up a rock to throw at Duc, so he picked up a stick from the side of the road and hit Tu on the forehead.

The fight between the two groups only stopped when people came to intervene. Duc was seriously injured and was taken to the 115 Hospital by people for emergency treatment, then transferred to Nghe An General Hospital. Tu was slightly injured and had to receive first aid at the commune health station.

The case is currently being investigated by the Quynh Long Commune Police in coordination with the Quynh Luu District Police.
