Therefore, this is also an opportunity for households that exploit and trade fish and shrimp to increase their income. Therefore, the markets in Thanh Chuong area have been rich in all kinds of anchovies, catfish, river shrimp, mussels since morning....

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chuong in Dong Van went to the market to buy fish to treat his friends and said: The market has a lot of delicious food, the prices are a little more expensive than usual but I am very satisfied because I bought a newly caught river fish. Rare types such as eel and catfish cost 120,000 VND/kg, big black carp weighing 4 kg or more is about 100,000 VND/kg, big carp is from 60 - 70,000 VND... Fresh shrimp costs from 150 - 200,000 VND/kg but is still very attractive to customers.

Ms. Hoang Thi Nhan, whose family resides in Block 8, Thanh Chuong Town, currently works in an Industrial Park in Bac Ninh, said: It's been a long time since I've been back to my hometown. It's wonderful to be able to enjoy fresh hometown products with my family.

Realizing the rapidly increasing consumer demand, these days fishing villages and fish traders have also focused on catching and collecting to serve. Walking through the markets, in addition to the abundance of fish and shrimp, fish sellers have used a wide range of items with the help of technology to help fish and shrimp swim and live longer in tanks, pots, oxygen ventilators, etc.

Mussels can be sold whole or processed depending on the needs of customers, but are guaranteed to be fresh and delicious. "Mussels are usually sold whole when sold, they must be kept in a basin of water. If they die, they will float up immediately, unable to hide from the buyer. If they are processed, they are also a type of food that is difficult to preserve and will smell if left for a few days, so they usually have to be sold out within the day" - a mussel seller shared.
