How do terrorist organizations arise?

Most terrorist organizations do not arise spontaneously, but are the result of major political and financial efforts from outside, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin said in an interview with RT on the eve of the VI International Conference on Security.

The international conference on security will be held on April 26-27, the participants will discuss a wide range of issues, including the fight against terrorism. Earlier, Deputy Minister Fomin said that representatives of 78 countries had agreed to participate in the conference, including more than 20 defense ministers.

“Not all, but I would say the majority if not most of the terrorist organizations, in fact, did not arise on their own, but were the result of the efforts of large political, financial and military organizations, often from outside,” Fomin said.

According to Mr. Fomin, it is possible to observe a new international phenomenon of creating terrorist organizations to "carry out someone's will".

"It is clear that we are witnessing a new international phenomenon in the military and political sense of the word. It is the transfer of new revolutionary technologies from outside to other countries, which are accused of being damaged by undemocratic regimes, so that one needs to import, establish and deploy on their territory something called democracy…

As a result of such a policy, some countries disappeared from the world map, some others are on the verge of a similar situation. Now it is Syria, Yemen", - concluded the Russian Deputy Defense Minister.
