Arrest of two young men who used iron bars to attack police
Being reminded by the authorities for their actions endangering other road users, Hung and Giang did not comply and instead took a long iron bar and hit the working group.
On May 2, the Hanoi City Police Mobile Police Regiment announced that it had transferred two subjects, including Tran Duc Hung, 20 years old, and Pham Van Giang, 30 years old, both residing in Dong Hung District, Thai Binh Province, for the act of resisting people on duty to the Nam Tu Liem District Police for handling according to their authority.
Previously, the working group of Company 2, Battalion 1 of this Regiment, led by Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Duy Quy, team leader, and 3 team members were on duty on Le Duc Tho Street, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi City.
At this time, two young men appeared riding a motorbike, the young man driving the motorbike was Pham Van Giang, the young man sitting behind was Tran Duc Hung holding a long iron bar, intentionally scraping it on the road, causing sparks, endangering other road users.

The task force asked the two young men to stop their motorbikes, but they did not comply and instead rushed straight into the task force on duty. Tran Duc Hung suddenly used his helmet to hit a comrade in the task force, then both of them sped away on their motorbikes.
About 15 minutes later, Hung and Giang returned on their motorbike. Hung continued to hit the task force with a 100cm long iron bar but missed. The task force deployed a formation to chase Hung and Giang's motorbike for 1km.
With the support of the people, the task force arrested Hung and Giang and handed over the evidence to the Nam Tu Liem District Police for handling. It is known that the Nam Tu Liem District Police have temporarily detained these two young men to clarify the act of "resisting people on duty".
