More than 600 students participate in anti-sexual abuse forum

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 8, the Yen Thanh District Youth Union in collaboration with the Phan Dang Luu Secondary School Youth Union organized the forum 'Speak up' - preventing sexual abuse in 2017'.

At the forum, more than 600 students in 21 classes of Phan Dang Luu Secondary School were informed about the reality of child sexual abuse in the world and in Vietnam, especially cases of child abuse right in their locality. At the same time, the forum helped them understand the concept of sexual abuse, the subjects of sexual abuse and sexual abuse, acts of sexual abuse, measures to prevent sexual abuse in children...

In particular, through the method of direct exchange and Q&A between the propagandists and the students, it has created a lively atmosphere and an open mentality for the minors. Thereby, raising awareness, equipping them with life skills, avoiding tricks of sexual abuse, and if there are signs of abuse, children should speak up to be protected.
