President sends congratulatory message to new South Korean President Moon Jae-in

On the occasion of Mr. Moon Jae-in being elected President of the Republic of Korea, on May 10, President Tran Dai Quang sent a congratulatory message.
Moon Jae-in was sworn in as President of South Korea for a five-year term, after winning the presidential election on May 9.
Previously, the National Election Commission of Korea announced that Mr. Moon Jae-in began his presidential term from the morning of May 10.
President Moon Jae-in has chosen South Jeolla Province Governor Lee Nak-yon as South Korea's new Prime Minister.
The vote count showed that Mr. Moon Jae-in of the Democratic Party of Korea won 41.08% of the votes, far ahead of the second-place candidate Hoong Joon-pyo of the Liberty Korea Party with 24.03% of the votes and the third-place candidate Ahn Cheon-soo of the center-left People's Party with 21.41% of the votes./.
