Raising awareness of the heroic traditions of the homeland for new recruits

(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the Party Work Plan and Political Work in training new soldiers, on May 22 and 23, Regiment 764, Nghe An Provincial Military Command organized for new soldiers to visit and learn about traditions at the Military Region 4 Museum, the Soviet Nghe Tinh Museum and the Traditional Room of Nghe An Provincial Military Command.

At the Military Region 4 Museum, new soldiers were able to visit typical artifacts about the feats and outstanding achievements of Military Region 4 - a land of "spiritual land and talented people" that has made many contributions to the cause of national liberation throughout historical periods, especially in the wars against France and the US.

Next, the soldiers were introduced to the patriotic tradition of their ancient homeland of Nghe Tinh (present-day Nghe An and Ha Tinh) about the causes, developments, results, and historical lessons from the Nghe Tinh Soviet Revolutionary Movement - the "First General Rehearsal" of workers, farmers, and soldiers under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam at the Nghe Tinh Soviet Museum.

At the end of the field trip, the new soldiers were able to visit the traditional room of the Provincial Military Command. Established on August 21, 1945, over the past 70 years, Nghe An armed forces have achieved many outstanding achievements in the war to protect the Fatherland as well as in the renovation period today, worthy of being the armed forces in the homeland of beloved Uncle Ho...

Through the visit and learning about the traditions at the museums, the new soldiers of Regiment 764 have contributed to raising awareness of the heroic traditions of the army and people of Military Region 4, the patriotic traditions of the heroic Soviet homeland; thereby building the determination of each soldier in performing their duties, always promoting the tradition, worthy of the title "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in Uncle Ho's homeland./.
