Vinh City: Build more markets after clearing sidewalks
(Baonghean.vn) - According to the Vinh City Urban Order Steering Committee, the city will build more markets to facilitate small traders to do business after restoring urban order.
The process of clearing violations of sidewalk, road and traffic safety corridor encroachments has affected the trading activities of many households in Vinh City.
To meet the trading needs of many households in Nghi Phu, especially those selling goods in front of the gate of Ba Lan Hospital, Vinh City is planning to build a market on unproductive land in Hamlet 13, Nghi Phu Commune, and assigning the Commune People's Committee to be the investor.

Currently, the People's Committee of Nghi Phu Commune and Nghe An Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company are preparing a project to submit to the City People's Committee for implementation in the near future. The construction of temporary markets not only contributes to ensuring traffic safety and order, urban civilization but also contributes to creating conditions for people to stabilize their business in the long term.
In addition, the city also assigned Nghe An Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company to level the ground at Hung Dong landfill area to build a market to serve street vendors, carts, and food vendors who have long encroached on the sidewalk to do business on Dang Thai Mai street.
