Nghe An province delegation went to Japan to collect documents about Phan Boi Chau

(Baonghean.vn) - To prepare for activities commemorating the 150th anniversary of the birth of patriotic scholar Phan Boi Chau, on March 26, a working delegation from Nghe An province led by comrade Ho Mau Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports visited and worked with the leaders of Fukuroi city (Japan) and the Asaba Association.

During this visit and working session, the delegation exchanged some information to serve the international conference on patriotic scholar Phan Boi Chau; at the same time, collected documents and artifacts for the exhibition house at the special national historical relic in Nam Dan district.

The two sides directly worked and learned about Phan Boi Chau's time in Japan as well as the close relationship between Phan Boi Chau and Dr. Asaba - who actively helped Phan and the Dong Du movement.

On the same day, the delegation also visited Syorin Temple in Fukuroi City to pay their respects to Dr. Asaba and the memorial stele erected by Phan Boi Chau, expressing their gratitude and condolences to Dr. Asaba. The Fukuroi City government and the Asaba Association presented Nghe An Province with many valuable documents related to Phan Boi Chau and Dr. Asaba./.
