Bathing in the river, a 10th grade male student was swept away by the water

Mr. Nguyen Hong Trung - Chairman of Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district confirmed that the case of the student who drowned while swimming in the Dao river in Yen Thanh is a citizen of Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district.

According to initial information, at around 4:00 p.m. on April 4, Mai Sy Lam (10th grade student) of Dien Chau 2 High School, Dien Hong Commune, Dien Chau District and a group of friends went to Do Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District to play soccer.

After the football match, Lam went to Dao River (border between Do Thanh and Duc Thanh communes) to bathe. While bathing, Lam was unfortunately swept away by the water.

At 9:00 p.m. the same day, the child's body was found and handed over to the family for burial.
