| Pham Hong Thuy (22 years old) is a third-year student of the Criminal Procedure Law Department of the People's Police Academy. As an excellent member of the school's large-displacement motorcycle club, Thuy was selected to participate in a demonstration of driving techniques for the 49th anniversary of the People's Police Academy and the 10th anniversary of the Armed Forces Department, which will take place on May 12. |

| More than a year ago, Thuy "fell in love" with large displacement motorbikes. She found a sense of comfort and stress relief when riding high-speed manual motorbikes that weighed 3-4 times her body weight. |

| Thuy and her teammates performed a technique of turning around a row of straight markers. This technique requires the driver to skillfully use the throttle, handbrake, and footbrake, combined with the correct sitting posture. If the brake and speed are not well controlled, it is very easy to fall over. |

| "Big displacement motorbikes are quite dangerous and too much for women. This type of manual motorbike requires a lot of complicated techniques when controlling. When engaging the clutch, if your hand is not steady, the motorbike can shoot forward at a very fast speed," said a member of the motorbike demonstration team. |

| Thuy also fell many times when practicing riding 250cc or 400-1000cc motorbikes. "There were exercises where I had to ride over obstacles and then suddenly had to turn at 60km/h, so falling was normal. Sometimes I couldn't put my feet down because the bike was too heavy," Thuy said. |
